Our Executive Committee members are all volunteers, driven by a shared commitment to improving our school community. Each of them has a child or children at Kellogg, and their dedication stems from a deep desire to create a nurturing, enriching environment where all our students can thrive and succeed. Together with all of the Kellogg PTA volunteers, they invest their time and energy to make our school the best it can be. Interested in joining the board next year? Reach out to Kara below! I have a daughter, Kamryn in 6th grade, and a Kellogg alumni, Lucas who is in 10th grade. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering at Kellogg for over 11 years, and I truly love this school and its incredible community. Serving as your PTA president is an honor, and I’m passionate about supporting our students, families, and staff. I believe in the power of working together to create meaningful opportunities and a welcoming environment for everyone at Kellogg.

I am a parent to three "Kellogg Bulldogs"! And I started volunteering for the Kellogg PTA during the Jog-a-Thon in spring of 2025 and was the 'Lounge Fairy' for the teacher/staff for half the year. Since my children are at one school, it makes it super fun to volunteer! The best part is they LOVE to help me set up and make creative signs, and enjoy seeing me randomly on campus :-) I accepted the role of VP recently and am excited for all the fun things we have planned for the 2025-2026 year. In addition, we have such a great community and are so blessed to have the best teachers and staff around town. Looking forward to working with fellow parents, too!

Hi! I'm jenny and I have been PTA-ing at Kellogg since 2019. I work mostly behind the scenes to help the PTA provide all the wonderful programs to all families at Kellogg and support our incredible teachers and admin staff. I am committed to running the Alternate Recess and After School Enrichment programs and will continue to work in that capacity to bring equitable enrichment to our Bulldogs. I am the mom of two Kellogg Alums (class of 2023 and 2025) and two existing Bulldogs (class of 2028 and 2030). I also spend my time trying to retire from event planning. Our Kellogg community is so special and I'm proud to be a small part of that.
Past Roles:

My wife, Megan, has been involved in the PTA for a number of years, and seeing the impact she and others had on making the Kellogg community a better place was inspiring and I wanted to get involved too! After helping out behind the scenes for a while I became interested in helping shape a new role, focused on leveraging technology and processes in a way to hopefully enable others on the board and running committees to be that much more effective in helping students, teachers and staff!
Past Roles:
VP of Operations (2024-2025)
Treasurer

I volunteered to be the PTA Treasurer in 2021 to help improve fundraising efforts and financial efficiency. Since joining, it has been inspiring to see firsthand how much effort goes on behind the scenes in fundraising, organizing fun events, and supporting the teachers, staff, and students. Kellogg has a great group of parents, teachers, and school staff that really care about developing the students and improving the school.
Past Roles:
Treasurer (2021-2025)

I'm a school psychologist for Santa Barbara and a proud mom of two. I've got a 1st grader here at Kellogg and a 3.5 year old who is excited to start TK next school year. I grew up attending school in the Goleta Union School district and have many fond memories of my own school days and activities put on by the PTA. As a parent, I wanted to join the PTA to help ensure our schools continue to be a fun and welcoming place for every child, while also supporting our teachers and staff. I believe all students deserve the resources they need to thrive, and I’m excited to work together with families and educators to make that happen.

I’m a pediatrician and mom of four, with three of my kids currently attending Kellogg. I grew up in GUSD myself, and I still remember how the PTA “extras,” like field trips, assemblies, and celebrations, made my elementary years special. As a parent, I want to help recreate that same positive, magical experience for our kids. I’m excited to be part of the PTA so I can support our amazing teachers do what they do best and make sure our kids have an unforgettable time at Kellogg.

I am so thrilled to be the principal at Kellogg School and to be part of such an amazing community of staff, students and parents. My husband is a teacher in Santa Barbara and I am a proud mom to two (now adult!) daughters who attended GUSD Schools. It is our mission at Kellogg School to ensure equitable access and high levels of growth in an inclusive, enriching, and positive atmosphere, so that each student will be socially and academically prepared for a diverse and dynamic world - and our PTA works hard to support this mission each year. At Kellogg, our students, families, staff, and volunteers come together to create something truly special!
